Ilyssa Daly – The New York Times

Ilyssa is a fellow with the Local Investigations Fellowship at The New York Times. She investigates the unchecked power of sheriffs in rural Mississippi and wrongful conviction cases in New York. Before the fellowship, she reported for the Mississippi Center for Investigative Reporting. Ilyssa is a 2022 graduate of the Toni Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
